Bank Teller/Member Service Representative I

- Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and loan payments and assist members with account inquiries and requests.
- Accepts deposits and drafts for cashing and verifies cash and endorsements
- Process loan payments, credit card payment and cash advances.
- Sell MasterCard cash passports, Visa Gift cards, money orders, etc.
- Process night deposits, order checks and prepare/mail account packets for potential members.
- Promote and cross-sell current and prospective members on products and services.
- Identify and generate opportunities for referrals on specialty products (insurance, investments and mortgages).
- Maintain awareness of new products, services and programs.
- Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses.
- Assist the branch with opening and closing procedures
Specific Job Requirements
- Ability to float between branches in Greater Nashville area as needed
- Minimum of six months work experience
- Neat appearance and friendly, professional demeanor
- Positive, outgoing personality and a “can-do†attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
