Description: UTC - Aerospace Systems is in need of Site Manager - Tullahoma right now, this vacancy will be placed in Tennessee. The Site Manager will lead all functions and activities in support of the operation of the Tullahoma Plant. This will include leading the execution of the business plan, delivery! , quality and cost elements within the business plan. As Site Manager, the key deliverables will be the development of the business plan, the policy deployment flow down of goals and objectives and the development and execution of the site CI Macro plan. Delivery of a quality product to the customer demand at a competitive cost is the primary goal and objective for this position. This position will lead a team of cell managers and approximately 300 employees in the execution of the business plan goals and objectives. The deployment of the UTC Aerospace Systems Operating Principles within the facility will require the leadership and direction of the Plant Manager.
Develop and manage manpower resources, budget, and capital. Establish and maintain delivery, quality, and rate readiness performance objectives and targets to meet/ exceed customer OTD and quality expectations and maintain delivery continuity. This includes active support/ management of site compliance to custo! mer and industry quality system requirements (ex, AS/EN9100, I! SO-9001)..
Champion all policy deployment and macro-planning processes to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Lead site guidance management team (GMT) and utilize established processes and tools within Goodrich Operating System (GOS), including Enterprise Excellence Assessment (EEA), lean daily management (LDMS), project management and site macro-planning.
Achieve and maintain EHS performance to Enterprise standards (accident reduction, compliance plus) by deploying established tools including an effective EHS Management System (EHSMS), and environmental and operational risk reduction systems and processes.
Utilize talent management process to motivate, lead, develop and train direct reports and their teams, as well as actively support indirect reports in the value stream. This includes performance planning and assessment, positive coaching and counseling for performance, personal/ career development planning, and succession planning through! out the organization.
Lead and manage all resources necessary to create and maintain a positive and continuously improving culture in the facility. Utilizing Goodrich People Philosophy principles and practices, actively champion site culture team activity and develop/ execute effective site communications plan(s).

Four Year Degree (in appropriate discipline Engineering / Technology / Business, etc.)
Master¿s degree preferred

Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing role
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role

¿ Analytical Problem Solving Understands established problem solving methods ¿ i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Apollo etc. ¿ and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems.
¿ Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) - Knowledge of basic compliance related requirements including not limited to incident/ accident investigation, training requirements, emergency preparedness and response/ first responder. Familiar with O! SHA standards.
¿ Quality Management Systems - Awareness level under! standing of the standards, implementation and certification process of Quality Management Systems such as AS/EN9100, ISO-9001, or any other industry-specific standard or regulation. Awareness level understanding of the requirements of customer-specific Quality System certification programs.
¿ Enterprise Resource Planning - Working level understanding of ERP systems and their use for labor and material planning/ scheduling, demand management, costing, etc. SAP experience preferred.
¿ Continuous Improvement - Knowledge of the tools and techniques of Lean Manufacturing such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S - Workplace Organization, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Set-up Reduction, Total Productive Maintenance, Mistake Proofing, etc.
¿ Leading and Managing Direct Reports - Demonstrated experience leading and managing direct reports as well as others indirectly; including planning, measuring &, monitoring work, coaching & counseling for performance, performance planning! & assessment process, hiring/ termination decision-making, succession planning
¿ Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR
