The successful applicant will serve as job readiness and retention specialist for Families First (TANF) clients. Essential job duties include case managing clients, deter! mining barriers to employment and assisting clients in removing those barriers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to lead classes in job readiness and life skills. Have knowledge of educational and training sites and their admission requirements. Needs to be familiar with the local job market and have the ability to develop professional relationships with employers. Data entry is required. The successful applicant must be capable of working with people having a wide range of abilities and competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of degree, three years experience with employment related programs, marketing or social services programs required. Ability to communicate effectively and to work in a detail oriented environment required. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets required (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred).
