PATIENT SERVICES CLERK
JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Promotes positive guest relations by greeting, assisting, and monitoring patient flow through the Primary Care clinic s. Performs receptionist and/or general clerical duties including data entry, filing and patient registration in accordance with established policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent with related course work required. Completion of a clerical or general office program desired.
EXPERIENCE: Twelve (12) months clerical, customer service, or related experience such as medical office, administrative, general clerical or customer/guest services. Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions, plan and organize work to be done. Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards health care team members and diverse patient populations required. designated timeframes. Completion of a unit clerk, medical office, general clerical, customer service training or equivalent education may be utilized in li eu of experience (documentation required).
- Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated skill in using NextGen and Soarian systems.
- Presents a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
