Maintenance Manager

HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL Performs job to ensure a safe work environment for all; follows and enforces TS16949, ISO14001, and the labor agreement. Effectively train technicians to perform tasks success! fully and safely. TECHNICAL SKILLS Able to design, install, repair, replace and maintain motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, power, communication, PLC, and other related systems. Use test equipment including but not limited to DMMs, amp meters, and megger meters. Know the practices, methods, tools, materials and equipment of the electricians trade. Trouble shoots problems, including PLCs / relay logic. Draw and interpret schematics and compile documentation for complex projects. Write simple PLC program applications. Interpret electrical and mechanical situations to determine process failure, needs, and improvements. Knowledge of AC/DC drive programming, and the National Electric Code Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, applicable laws and the labor contract. As a support department to manufacturing, coordinates maintenance activities with other department. Discusses priorities, schedule changes, and is! sues with production on an ongoing basis. Supervise the respon! se of maintenance technicians to trouble calls. Continually monitors equipment status and production needs, and reacts accordingly. Reviews data to resolve equipment problems ensuring minimum costs and preventing operational delays. Report to management safety, quality, and production problems. Develop and plan preventive / predictive maintenance. Makes and implements recommendations that promote continuous improvement. Takes part in layered audits, responds to internal audit findings immediately, and takes corrective action
Minimum 3 5 years experience, manufacturing experience (automotive helpful), good organizational and communication skills, BS degree.
