Manufacturing Systems Engineer / Computer En! gineer
Job Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer you will configure and oversee the operation and maintenance of our machine-vision system. You will be responsible for interfacing with the equipment supplier (EVS) to keep abreast of technology as it evolves as well as maintaining administration of service agreements and scheduling regular service visits.
Additional responsibilities:
Creating and fine-tuning product-specific set-up parameters
Assuring systems remain in good working order by designing and organizing necessary maintenance and operational routines
Troubleshooting the more complex operational problems
Evaluating system performance and leading continuous improvement activities
Training plant engineers, vision technicians and supervisors on basic system operation and troubleshooting of minor operational issues
Conducting audits to evaluate effectiveness of individual lamination cre! ws, vision technicians and inspectors
Defining and documenting work instructions to assure optimum vision effectiveness
Setting goals for system effectiveness
Performing audits to assure proper procedures are being followed, providing feedback to associates, supervisors, and engineers
