Retirement Benefits Specialist

To ensure efficient and accurate collection and sharing of core benefits data to all parties.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS (Reports to and dir! ect reports)
This position reports to the Director of Compensation, Benefits & Payroll with no direct reports.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer accurate and reliable benefits data to providers, such as 401k eligibility, pension valuation and health and welfare plan providers
Coordinate mandatory filings, such as Form 5500’s
Develop best tools to collect, extract and share data within the HRIS system
Assist in plan accounting and analysis
Administer pension payment process
Participate in Plan Document and Summary Plan Description development
Primary Stock Administrator (Domestic and International Options and Restricted Stock)
Assist in customer service activities

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong detail, accuracy and organizational skills
Able to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent planning skills to achieve successful task completion
! Communication â€" excellent verbal and written skills
Word! (basic - intermediate), Excel (intermediate - advanced) and PowerPoint (basic)
HRIS systems and report writer experience
Benefit plan design experience

Required Experience:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree desired
5 years relevant experience in HR, Benefits, Accounting or Finance

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Travel negligible
Normal business office environment
