Orkin Pest Control, a national residential and business service provider, is seeking a talented individual to join our Management Development pro! gram. Founded in 1901, we are the leading service providers in the Unit! ed States. We provide the most accurate, comprehensive, and efficient pest management services for both residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
This position is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced operations/branch manager. Our Management Development Program is designed to help the ideal candidates transition their exceptional knowledge and skills from their current industries to ours. Reporting to a Region Manager, this position will be responsible for achieving sales and service results for a team within an assigned territory; management of a location P&L, including budgeting and managing operational expenses; direction of the activity of all branch personnel including recruiting, hiring, training, development and motivation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and maintaining communication between sales personnel, service personnel, and our customers. He or She will also provide strategic overv! iews to upper management about their territories, personnel issues, growth opportunities, and forecasting.

Required Skills
The Successful Candidate Will . . .
Be responsible for the day to day operation of a termite control route. Follow a daily schedule, insuring timely arrival at each stop. (A company vehicle is provided.) Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and cross sell additional services. Discuss the scope of services provided with the customer. Utilize the in-depth training provided to decide on the most efficient solution for their customer's needs. Provide their customers with the best termite control and eradication services in the industry. Complete all required service-related paperwork. Diagnose and discuss the scope of service with customers. Respond to customer requests in ! a timely manner. Ensure personnel training and compliance with safety p! rocedures. We are looking for someone that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty. Someone that is willing to work hard, learn a new trade and take care of our customers and inspect for wood destroying organisms. Treats structure to Orkin standards, Label Requirements and State Requirements.
