The Plant Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the Mill and Mine Fixed Assets on site. You will ensure that the Mine and concentrator meets the budgeted availability and cost. While establishing and monitoring maintenance strategies, you will be responsible in the training of maintenance and the development of computer based monitoring systems. Through your continuous involvement within the team you will coach, direct, mentor and pr! ovide feedback to employees to achieve set targets.
T! o be suitable for this role you will have at least 5 years of supervisory experience. Minimum of 8 years working in a mine environment. An Electrical Engineering background is preferred. Experience working on an underground mine site would be considered an asset. With your excellent communication skills, you will have the proven ability to lead a team of supervisors and tradesman to meet set targets.
For the right candidate this role offers a base salary of 85 â€" 95K based on experience, four weeks annual leave, statutory holidays, bonus, retirement savings plan and a comprehensive medical plan.
