Description: Affinity Executive Search is at present looking to employ Color Matcher right now, this position will be placed in Tennessee. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. We are working with a growing manufacturing plant in E.TN that has an immediate need for a Color Matcher / Specialist. The position reports to the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for ! the development of color formulations. Will work with lab equipment including HIDM's, grinders, extruders, injection molders, blow molders, blown film lines, and other analytical equipment.
Will perform competitive analysis to determine composition of supplied material in addition to using spectro matching to determine starting formulation. Involved in color matching and formula development while also preparing color samples using color chips, films, and others for customer presentations.
Qualified candidates will have 3+ years color matching experience, ideally with exposure to pigment and additives used in the plastics industry.
