Job Description:
The Commercial Pricing Analyst will perform exploratory data analysis to identify potential influential variables or relationships, and present results effectively to support strategic Commercial Pricing initiatives. She/he will be responsible for working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing and other organizations to achieve key pricing objectives. The Commercial Analyst will be able to provide guidance on findings and implications, and be capable of explaining these findings to internal customers. A high level of accuracy on all data analysis is expected, as well as a desire to continue to learn new approaches, techniques, and best practices. This team member will be very organized, self-motivated, and strive constantly to improve profitability and customer service across all our brands.
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytic and quant! itative reasoning and enjoy problem solving
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed
- Presentation of findings, including recommendations to key stakeholders
- Ability to work well with multiple levels in the organization
- Ability to conduct analyses with relative autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Some level of proficiency in using SAS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with any Price Optimization software is a plus
- B.S. or MA/MS in Statistics, Economics or equivalent field. A Masters' degree is preferred.
