Arranges and provides in-services for all referral sources/potential referral sources according to established department objectives and action plan.Ensures that referral sources receive appropriate and timely follow-up communications regarding their patients and hospital programs.Contributes to the development and maintenance of referral source information such as brochures, flyers, referrals, and information kit and all other outreach and marketing tools.Provides written reports to referral sources regarding hospital outcomes statistics and when feasible, specific information about patient outcomes of selected referral sources.Promotes and provides effective tours of hospital facilities to potential patients and/or family members, referral sources and to the community at large.Responds within established time frame to request for on-site patient evaluations.Analyzes patient condition, status, needs and medical record data for cost/benefit analysis and medical determination for program admission in conjunction with rehab physician.Effectively communicates evaluation and analysis to medical staff determining admission.Accurately applies primary and secondary medical diagnostic information to support program admission and treatment.Completes admission assessment forms in complete legible manner.Seeks referral source ideas and feedback about quality of services and additional program needs from referral sources and stakeholders.Gathers and analyzes information regarding competitive programs and reports key findings to management as measured by competitive reports.Regularly reviews account activity and develops appropriate call plans, as agreed upon by supervisor, to increase business growth.Assist Clinical Director to obtain pre-certification/insurance approval for commercially insured patients.Assist Clinical Director to verify that Medicare days are valid. Direct inpatient Rehab experience, one year or more, involving extensive knowledge of rehab/criteria. Excellent interpersonal skills/communication skills. Excellent organization/time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills; professional appearance. Experience in providing educational programs and public speaking relating to Marketing responsibilities. RN/LPN with current licensure in the state of Tennessee; CRRN preferred BLS
