Responsible for communicating Revenue Management best practices, as established by the company, to hotels, brand teams, management companies, and ownership groups. The manager will need to be able to effectively communicate strategies through various methods including consultations, training, performance evaluation, property or management company meetings, and e-mail/telephone correspondence. The manager will assist hotels, management companies and the brand to identify ways to improve RevPAR Index performance through the use of revenue management resources along with effective pricing, inventory controls and restrictions by analyzing overall performance, demand and market trends of the hotels.

In conjunction with market share and revenue goals, the Manager will provide guidance and instruction in the proper utilization of Revenue Management resources and Hilton OnQ Systems, including but not limited to: OnQ Revenue Management Express, OnQ Rate & Inventory, OnQ Property Management, and OnQ Insider (reporting and resources).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

o Must have, or be able to obtain, all necessary documents required to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

o High school diploma

o Minimum of five (5) or more years work experience; including a minimum of two (2) years experience in a Supervisory Revenue Management position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

o Four (4) year college degree

o Two (2) years cross-functional experience in hotel management, or related industry. Cross brand or product line experience.

o Two (2) years experience using revenue management database systems and tools, automated systems, personal computers and software programs.

o Adaptable experience with travel industry reservation systems.

o Adaptable experience with hotel property management systems.

o Strong experience in hospitality forecasting, pricing and inventory control.

o Bi-lingual (Spanish)
