Java Developer
Location: Nashville Tennessee
Description: OtterBase is currently interviewing Java Developer right now, this position will be placed in Tennessee. Top level ability to extract specifications, to design and develop or modify complex software in a modern object oriented environment. Designs, codes, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs. Applications generally deal with original program development and support of locally developed programs. Competent to work on all phases of software systems programming applications, and as a member of a larger programming team. Is familiar with distributed computing environment, modern computer software architectures and advanced software practices.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of Java experience
• 3 years of J2EE experience (including EJB)
• Experience with a framework such as STRUTS, Spring, Tapestry, etc.
• Relational Database experience (SQl)
• Iterative development methodologies, such as Agile XP
• Web Services
• Experience with Google Web Kit, JavaScript libraries.
• Scripting languages such as Perl, PHP, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Bamboo, Clover
• Experience with Subversion
• Experience leading small to medium sized teams
• Ability to mentor other developers
