This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA. It is available as a remote opportunity as well.


Summary

The Advertising & Social Media Associate is responsible for developing and executing digital advertising campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and sales. This role will work within the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies, as well as with the TSA PreCheck team to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. TSA PreCheck enrollment services are a key priority for Telos Corp. and this position is an integral team member, focusing on driving consumer demand. Candidates with previous experience in the B2C market, ideally within the travel industry, are preferred.

Applicant must have a deep knowledge of Paid Search and Social, and be comfortable with other digital tools for remarketing, email marketing and updating WordPress websites.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies.
  • Execute according to value propositions, based on pain points that resonate with customers.
  • Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing (SMM), and display advertising.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Integrate webpages to accommodate marketing efforts across digital and traditional media, including events, webinars, campaigns, social media etc.
  • Create content and post content for social media accounts.
  • Distribute and track email marketing for campaigns by using marketing automation tools (i.e. Salesforce), staging emails and managing lists and reporting.
  • Track web analytics (google, social) so we may react quickly to needed changes in messaging, content, and design.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Update web page content and layout using a content management system such as WordPress.
  • Develop, drive and measure impact of SEO growth initiatives; provide SEO guidance for launches and website updates, work on implementation.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor analytics and prepare reports on all marketing efforts to assess and enhance performance.
  • Implement initiatives for maintenance of ongoing SEO health and growth.



Job Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education professional training or work experience (6+ years).
  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising.
  • Fluency of digital marketing channels, including SEM, SMM, and display advertising.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen understanding and experience with various marketing tools and digital marketing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A sensitivity for branding and how each interaction impacts customer perception.
  • A professional attitude regarding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player with both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must possess strong time management skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task.
  • The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship. This candidate will also be required to pass clearances for specific government contracts.
  • Preferred, but not mandatory, is experience of digital tools such as Mailchimp, JavaScript, Bootstrap, other content management systems.
