Job Summary

In this role, you will supervise and coordinate activities of clerks who open, sort, and route mail, in addition to preparing outgoing material for mailing. Under your leadership, the office will exhibit an efficient and organized operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reads letters and determines department or official for whom mail is intended
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures
  • Prioritizes work and manage staff levels appropriately
  • Establishes a full understanding for the utilization of Compass Group reporting systems
  • Produces client invoicing/billing in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; College Degree is a plus
  • Facilities Experience, preferred not required
  • Proven customer service related experience
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively work both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
