Operations Analyst

Job Title: Operations Support Analyst

Reports To: VP of Operations Support

Job Summary:

The Operations Support Analyst is responsible for supporting management in the implementation of product rules through auditing and data validation to determine system quality and functionality. Responsibilities include creating and managing test cases, user acceptance testing, assisting in product development, troubleshooting system requirements, and implementing new and existing changes as they relate to department goals.

Responsibilities:

· Creating test cases to cover scenarios and perform system testing to ensure business rules are working appropriately in the company’s loan origination software.

· Analyze pertinent information to determine cause for loan errors

· Research new product and program requirements as directed within required timeframe.

· Create and maintain regular reporting and provide updates to management upon request.

· Special projects/additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5+ years current experience in mortgage banking, with an emphasis in processing, compliance, and operations procedures (extensive knowledge in conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA products required).

· Excellent attention to detail and analytic skills required.

· Ability to self-manage and motivate and meet assigned deadlines.

· Superior customer service skills with the ability to communicate real time updates in a professional manner by way of verbal or written updates.

· Working knowledge and familiarity with compliance and mortgage lending requirements.

· Experience with Microsoft Office and Encompass required.

Other Qualifications:

· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

· Must have excellent written and oral communication.

· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

· Responsiveness and willingness to learning new products and programs.

· Must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and industry changes as they occur.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
