We are a manufacturer of adhesive application systems located just north of Nashville, TN. We provide solutions to the packaging, coating / laminating and disposable hygiene products ma! rkets. We are the technology-leader in our field, offering an ! exciting array of high-speed, electro-mechanical fluid-dispensing products. We have an immediate need for a TECHNICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to work in our Technical Services Department. This individual will provide technical support to our customers by phone, fax or instant-messaging with solutions to their technical questions related to our adhesive application equipment. This position is an excellent opportunity for:
An experienced individual who is currently in a similar role, such as Sales Engineer or Field Service Technician who wants to make a change to an exceptional organization with room for growth.
An experienced individual in a similar role who wants to use your technical skill! s minus the travel.
You will provide operational and maintenance assistance to keep customers “up and running" using Engineering drawings, product manuals and technical bulletins. You will enter a history of service calls into our customer relationship management software (SalesLogix) and use our ERP system (QAD) to investigate customer sales history, serial number research, part number identification, BOMs and create sales orders for periodic maintenance, repairs and warranty replacement. You will provide classroom training to our distributors and customers on the operation and maintenance of our equipment. In addition, you will share the 24-hour on call responsibilities with four other colleagues to ensure our customers can reach us with critical needs. You will have the expertise of long-service Dynatec co-workers to learn from as mentors. Occasional overnight travel is possible, less than 5%.

Job Requirements
The candidate we select will have a 2 or 4 year technical degree or the equivalent experience with assembly and/or servicing and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment and strong, demonstrable customer service skills. Must have computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook and be comfortable with communication technology of all types. This position also requires professional business communication skills; our customers are Tier One companies.
