Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a SENIOR ANALYST â€" PQ ANALYTICS at our Franklin, TN location.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements tools for all engineers and managers to assist in data mining, including development of business requireme! nts, technical system requirements, and user acceptance testin! g. Provides support and training as required.
2. Point of contact for warranty analysis ad-hoc requests.
3. Maintains legacy systems and servers by using Oracle, Access (SQL), Toad, SAS, Visual Basic, etc.
4. Develops programs for the Monthly Quality Report including automating the reporting extract program, coordinating creation of report from all departments who provide data, validating content, and providing analysis of top issues and recommendations.
5. Works closely with IS and IS vendors (e.g., Tech Mahindra). Manages trouble tickets and resolution by testing and providing feedback on a daily basis.
6. Provides training to Engineers in Smyrna, Canton, NTCNA, and other locations as necessary on data analysis and analysis tools such as ALERT and adhoc tools. Trains other analysts in Quality Management team on processes and programs that are used in the department.
7. Communicates with senior management on analysis and processes used to project wa! rranty data, provides suggestions for improvement, and moves suggested changes into reality.
8. Provides detailed analysis to upper management and TCS engineers on warranty quality trends, quality survey results, and customer satisfaction KPI progress.
9. Develops and prepares TCS executive summaries used in reporting to QMC-A and various other executive reviews.
10. Distributes results and detailed actual data to NNA and Japan regarding warranty claim performance and cost tracking towards KPI targets and commitments. Interacts with TCSX on various warranty-related issues, such as warranty targets, cost and global warranty definitions.
11. Participates in Customer Satisfaction Teams (CST) representing the department and providing expertise in warranty and MIS measurement.
12. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience:
Seven or more years of related ! experience at a professional level.
2. Education:
B! achelor’s degree in a related field. Advanced degree a plus.
3. Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications. Knowledge of mainframe. Advanced experience in Access, SQL, Toad, Oracle, and Business Objects. A working knowledge of RSS an d SAS is a plus.
4. Data / Application Skills:
Knowledge of WRAPS, CPIA, Vehicle Operations, ALERT, Quality Connection systems a must.
Excellent knowledge of warranty and vehicle data is required.
