Description: Sumner Regional Medical Center is currently interviewing Transporter - FT right now, this occupation will be placed in Tennessee. Further informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. This position is responsible for cleaning the OR, PACU, Endoscopy, and CSR areas, and for transporting patients to the Surgical Suite. Practices sterile techniques and standard precautions. Full-Time position
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Previous experience is not required; however, previous hospital experience or nursing assistant training will be given preference.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Heartsaver certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 90 day! s of employment.
Skills: The person filling this po! sition must have good physical and mental health. Heavy lifting is often required. Standing most of the day is required. Finger and hand dexterity is required to handle and manipulate instruments.
