Inside Sales Rental Consultant

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented professional with at least 2 years of Sales/Customer Service experience for our Memphis, TN showroom. The successful ca! ndidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Goals for the Rental Consultant position include:
Meet or exceed sales goals.
Sell products and services to all walk-in, telephone and Internet customers.
Obtain credit information required to facilitate approvals for customers.
Determine customers needs for products and services.
Utilize computer to develop proposals and obtain necessary information from customer to complete sale.
Work with the delivery and shipping departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
Maintain relationship with customers to encourage future sales.
Support company's marketing efforts.
Complete required tracking and productivity reports.
Attend ongoing training to stay current with all products and services.
Follow established opening and closing procedures for the store.
Maintain appearance of the store to compan! y standards.
Complete end-of-day closing and process depos! its accurately.
Follow company procedures to protect store security and company assets.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. Two years Customer Service and/or sales experience. Furniture knowledge a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and comprehend business level correspondence and memos in English. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to utilize a calculator in order to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute ratios and percents.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense in order to carry out written or oral instructions. Utilize District procedures and guidelines to creatively resolve customer service issues.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Perform basic computer skil! ls and Internet applications. Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook, a plus.
