Enterprise Content Management support team is looking for an Enterprise Content Management Engineer with a strong working background in Kofax Capture or Kofax Ascent suite of tools to! join the ECM Support team within IT Operations. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills with the ability to work independently and on a team. As a member of the team that supports our ECM applications, responsibilities include application and infrastructure support, stability and performance management, as well as creation of technical specifications, analysis, develop and implement customized Data Capture and ECM functions. The successful candidate will be multi-skilled and adaptable as shehe will be exposed to a variety of assignments.
Shehe can work effectively with our business users, IT users and business partners to identify and design IT solutions that meet business needs. The individual will use hisher knowledge of ECM, advanced capture, and IT architecture best practices to maintainenhancedevelop ECM solutions for the various business units. Responsibilitiesbull Work with business analysts, developers, project managers, and users to cap! ture, define, and document business requirementsbull Advanced ! experience in imaging technologies including Document Scanning, Distributed Capture, understanding of Imaging File formats, Data Extraction, OCR, ICR, Barcode Recognition, and Document Separation methodsbull Work with other technology areas to facilitate integration with external systemsbull Perform testing support for ECM applicationsbull Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on ECM application and systems to diagnose issues and rectify thembull Provide ongoing support of Content Manager for iSeries and Kofax suite of tools and application systems in production including responding to service requests, problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting as necessarybull Identify and participate in improvement, system renewal, stability, and upgrade projectsbull Create and maintain supporting documentationbull Provide development and infrastructure estimates at various levels of a project to match architectural solution, including assistance in business case! creationbull Identify and assist in the re-engineering , improvement or replacement of business processes and associated technologiesbull Participate in design, coding, debugging, upgrading, implementation and support of these applicationsbull Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements in the process of initiating solutions or responding to requests for assistance from business partnersbull This role includes occasional on-call and after hours support Required Skillsbull XMLbull Windows Server 2008 R2bull Experience developing successful solutions to solve large and complex business problems using an advanced capture solution (Preferably Kofax but not required)bull Must be a self-starter and work well without constant supervisionbull Ability to work in a team environment as well as independentlybull Excellent verbal and written communications skillsbull Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks efficiently Desired Skillsbull ! Experience with Ascent Capture, Kofax Capture, KTM 5.5bull Experience w! ith ECM repositories such as IBM’s Content Manager or FileNetbull Experience with developing and configuring Web Services in order to customize ECM solutionsbull Knowledge of .NET Scripting and ASP .NET in order to develop custom and exception processing modules for Kofax applications including KC10, KTM, KCS, and KCARbull Certification andor significant experience with the Kofax Capture 10 suite of toolsbull Experience with the IBM Content Manager for iSeries suite of toolsbull AIIM andor CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) credentialsbull Background of Change Management process, GCC requirementsbull experience with C , ADO.Net, VB6 and VB.NET bull SQL Server 20052008, relational databases, and stored procedures Kofax, ECM, Enterprise Content Management, Kofax Capture, Filenet
