Johnson & Johnson Health Care S! ystems Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Supervisor, Operations, located in Memphis, TN.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
The Sr. Supervisor will be responsible for supporting pick, pack and shipping operations for the ASP, Ethicon and Endo business in the Memphis Logistics Center (MLC). This position will handle a portion of the distribution process from order processing to shipment of Johnson & Johnson Medical Device & Diagnostics products in an automated Distribution Center environment. The Sr. Supervisor will work to attain th! e Johnson &Johnson Health Care Systems Distribution Center goa! ls and objectives, including productivity, safety and quality goals, support the achievement of operating company service level agreements, while managing within the operational budget and ensure areas meet safety, quality and environmental compliance practices. This individual will lead or support projects, such as product launches, business integrations, standardization opportunities, service improvements, cost improvements and/or process improvements. Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, counseling, supervision, development, direction and feedback to team members. This individual will also conduct and deliver performance appraisals for team members.
In addition, the Sr. Supervisor, Operations will be responsible for managing the Kronos Time and Attendance System and all associated tasks for all wage associates in their business unit. As necessary, performs approval procedure for pay period close and conducts audit of timecards prior to bi-weekly pay close to e! nsure completeness for transmission to payroll. Responsible for pay period close of time cards to make adjustments to the system for compliance and accuracy and will provide trending, tracking and issue resolution for Kronos.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or relevant field is required and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics, Operations or a related field. Prior supervisory experience is required. Experience in inventory management, including managing cycle counts, maintaining inventory records and performing inventory adjustments are preferred. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (i.e. MARC Global) is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Experience with Ariba Procurement System is preferred. Experience with Materials Resource Planning (MRP) Systems is preferred. Experience applying Six Sigma/Process Exce! llence Tools, Training and/or Certification preferred. Experience worki! ng in an Automated Distribution Center environment is preferred. An APICS certification is preferred. Knowledge of Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements is preferred. Prior experience working in a real-time/fast-paced environment is required. Must have strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and make decisions. Must have excellent collaboration, customer service and oral/written communication skills. Experience partnering with all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required. This position is on 3rd shift (1130pm start time), and the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, upon request, is required.
