Description: Community Health Network is currently interviewing Full-time & Part-time Health Coach Positions - NEW right now, this position will be placed in Tennessee. Community Health Network (CHN) provides health and wellness services at job sites identified by CHN and its partners. In order to build a! n infrastructure and culture of health among an employee population, the Health Coach will facilitate wellness program development. Health Coaches will implement on-site wellness programming for clients, perform health screenings, individual coaching and conduct health education events. Health Coaches work with a variety of participants, encouraging healthy behaviors and setting up challenges and competitions. While on-site at our clients, a health coach will work one-on-one with employees, coaching them to improve the lifestyle behaviors that contribute to poor health (lack of exercise and fitness, poor nutrition, smoking, stress, weight management, etc.), help employees set goals, answer questions, and provide guidance and on-going support through our proprietary coaching process.
Qualifications
- A professional degree in health science or related fields and/or top-level certification from an accredited health and wellness organization.
- P! roof of current CPR and First Aid certification
- Exper! ience in health and fitness program design and implementation.
- A developing knowledge and understanding of health and wellness topics including
- The ability to work both independently and with human resource personnel to assess the needs and expectations within an organization in order to deliver a program that meets objectives and goals.
- The ability to develop a professional working relationship with people of varying backgrounds being aware of equality and diversity.
- Maintain confidentiality with all clients. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA
- Act as a role model, gaining the respect and trust of all at the workplace.
- Good organizational and computer skills. Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email
- The ability to maintain records, account da! ta and CHN forms such as expense reports and
