JOB PROFILE:
Industry leading manufacturer offers a career-oriented opportunity for one who has the ability and has the aptitude to progress and advance in their career. You will lead and support Lean continuous improvement and capital project initiatives.
We seek one who has manufacturing experience as well as success defining, developing and implementing manufacturing process best practices. We are seeking one who will 'think outside the box', 'break the mold' and develop innovative solutions. Also, you need solid project management leadership and strategic planning skills.
You will lead a team of maintenance professionals.
Also, you need leadership and people skills and function well in a team environment. We are looking for a “hands on†leader.
Other functions include:
- Providing solid leadership and advocacy of the plant’s continuous improvement program
- Manage the initia! ting and delivering with projects that provide significant imp! rovements in reducing variation
- Manage improved process flows to support optimal plant operations
- Work cross-functionally to facilitate best practices and process initiatives
- Validate and install new equipment and tooling
- Use project management skills to work on multiple projects including capital projects
- BS degree â€" Engineering or related
- Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid history of process improvement project management and leadership experience
- Process improvement / Lean tools
- Six Sigma certification or training
. Capital projects - concept to commissioning
. Experience with PM programs - preventative maintenance
- Solid communication, organization and time management skills
- Proven team leadership and management skills and expe! rience
