Location: Collegedale Tennessee

Manage the contracts administration process and provide guidance on general contracts such as cleaning services, parts & supplies, cafete! ria, etc.

Facilitate team bid processes, including creating requests for proposals, identifying potential suppliers, reviewing proposals and coordinating vendor presentations.

Utilize standard contracts templates to establish, implement, and maintain purchasing contracts with suppliers.

Facilitate the development and negotiation of supplier contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Maintain good supplier relationships and serve as a liaison between supplier and internal customers.

Monitor, collect and analyze quantity and quality of services provided. Identify trends in performance, and work with vendors to assist in the development and improvement of service delivery with a continuous focus on process improvement and lowering total cost of ownership.

Facilitate vendor evaluation â€" financial, safety, quality, service, capacity.

Develop and monitor contracts standards and compliance,! identifying need to change practices or processes.

P! repare correspondence and reports regarding contracts matters.

Arrange the transfer and sale of surplus parts and/or equipment.

Facilitate planning sessions with internal customers.

Arrange and participate in vendor and McKee Foods facility visits.

Demonstrate workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values.

Maintain good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy.

Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a commitment to the safety of others and our products.

Ability to travel 10-25% depending upon location.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of professional Purchasing experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer or equivalent.

Four (4) year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1 year of education = 2 years of experience).

Solid understanding and experience with contracts administration princi! ples, industry practices and purchasing processes as well as economic and manufacturing finance/accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking analysis, and reporting of financial data.

Applied knowledge of legal requirements for contracts negotiation, administration and compliance.

Demonstrated contracts administration skills to include negotiating, preparing and executing basic contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements; evaluating and selecting vendors based on a competitive bidding process; maintaining records and contract compliancy and serving as liaison between buyer, internal customer and vendor.

Strong influence and negotiation skills to include demonstrated ability to negotiate terms, agreements, and understandings with others (e.g. customers, senior management, vendors, departments, regulatory bodies, etc.). Experience negotiating terms and conditions and financial terms; arbitrating policy or ! procedural disagreements; consistently negotiating with the best intere! sts of the company and TCO in mind, and ability to influence the decision-making of others.

Experience and ability facilitating team bid processes; monitoring, collecting and analyzing quantity and quality of services provided; developing and monitoring contracts standards and compliance; arranging and participating in vendor and facility visits.

Proven ability to lead and direct the contracts process as well as lead a team of subject matter experts.

Demonstrated language skills including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community, writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format and to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Solid math! ematical skills demonstrated through the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; draw and interpret bar graphs; calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Established ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and to apply other reasoning skills such as interpreting extensive varieties of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Proficiency in Asset Management software, MS Office Suite, internet search and navigation skills and other Purchasing software solutions/systems.

Established history of flexibility, adaptability, initiative and cooperation. Sustained pattern of workplace behavior consistent with MFC policies and v! alues.

Qualifications Preferred

C.P.M. and/or CPSM
®

designation.

Proficiency in Maximo, McKee ToolBox and Workday.
