Each building can be customized beyond shape and size, select from numerous panel profiles, a large color palette and several faux finishes. Or, as an alternative, combine our metal building systems with brick, stone or other conventional building materials.

Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Plant Manager. Coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s). Responsible for coordinating the scheduling, fabrication, and shipment of all orders within the production facility working in conjunction with Quality, Purchasing, Traffic, Production Control and Human Resources Departments. Insure that the facility's Safety, Quality, Production and Cost Objectives are met by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate su! pervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES incl! ude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assure the Safety of all employees and insure that safe working conditions exist in all areas, while implementing continuous improvement plans to eliminate all work-related incidents.

Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, policies and procedures. Assure all standards are met and ensure compliance with all engineering specifications and certification agencies.

Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations, customer service, and cost factors. Control inventory, scrap and material utilization.

Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational ! reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.

Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.

Work with Production Control Supervisor to revise production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.

Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
Assist in the development of those employees identified as possible candidates for future advancement through the use of training programs, educational opportunities, and mentoring to better qualify them for current and future positions within the company.

Confer with Human Resources to administer company policies, maintain superior employee relations, and attain Affirmative Action goals.

Compiles, stores, and ret! rieves production data. Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost c! ontrols.

Oversees plant to ensure a clean and orderly condition and ensure a commitment to 6S

Performs and directs special projects as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the Production Supervisors, Shipping Supervisor, and Maintenance Supervisor. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A thorough knowledge of NCI products and their related manufacturing processes.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with an emphasis in manufacturing, engineering or operations management; or Associates Degree (A.A.) in manufacturing, engineering or operations management and/or have five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum requirement would be a high school diploma with extensive experience in a manufacturing environment or related field with progressively expanding responsibilities as well as proven capability and knowledge. Good computing skills, including extensive experience in Microsoft office products.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business p! eriodicals and technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability! to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write reports and business correspondence that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Good Mathematical, technical and analytical skills including problem solving techniques
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work effectively with mini! mal supervision and provide guidance and support for peers and subordinates.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, ETC.

Current drivers license. Must be able to commit to flexible work hours that allow for coverage of the operation and be self motivated. Must be available for travel when required and present a professional image.
