Req ID 250765BR Industry Job Title Program Management Mgr Job Code/Title L3045:Program Management Mgr Job Description Lockheed Martin is currently seeking an experienced Progra! m Manager. The successful candidate will manage a large utility-sponsored energy efficiency program. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Program Manager will oversee and manage the planning and implementation aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and other internal functional teams (Business Development/Marketing, Operations, and Engineering). The position will oversee program performance and deliverables status and will proactively manage delivery schedules to assure on time delivery with a high level of professionalism and quality. This position will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with internal staff and external partners. This role will oversee the development and improvement of key business processes within our current operation and act as the liaison to operational process improvement. This position will monitor operations to recognize trends, opportunities to ! enhance procedures, identify potential problems, or other fact! ors that might impact production or performance with an eye toward optimizing program results. This position will facilitate the documentation of issues and actions to closure. This role will oversee management of multiple projects, resources and budgets for the group while mentoring and coaching other team members. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in team leadership with a proven track record of successfully implementing change within an organization. The ability to shape successful cross-functional teams and motivate these teams to work seamlessly through excellent coordination is required. May require some travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage program staff including engineers, marketing and outreach personnel, and operations staff
  • Work closely with the client to understand and build strategies to respond to client needs, market trends and emerging technologies
  • Oversee the development and implementati! on of program infrastructure including tracking systems, communication and IT systems, program implementation plans and QA/QC plans
  • Lead the program team in day-to-day program implementation efforts
  • Focus on defining and executing overall program strategy and performance indicators that will drive significant new business and create repeat participation
  • Work with internal reporting staff to define and report on progress against key business/performance indicators
  • Manage budgets and goals Basic Qualifications • Progressive professional experience in strategic planning, strategic project implementation and/or program management with a focus on delivering value to clients.
  • Experience in energy efficiency, and new technology concepts, practices, and procedures are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications are also required.
  • Ability to lead c! ross functional teams, coordinate activities across disparate groups, m! anage ambiguity, prioritize, and multi-task will be essential.
  • Clear collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical groups, strong attention to details, superior organization skills, and successful experience developing and implementing functional processes are necessary.
  • Train program leads on attributes of the Lockheed Martin personnel management and development systems, such as, LM People human resources, career development tools etc. Desired skills • Experience in energy efficiency program implementation or energy related markets
  • Specific experience in energy management in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certifications
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment
  • LM21/LEAN Six Sigma experience and/or certification
  • Experience in strategic and business plan develo! pment, including implementation of vision and strategy, is desired.
