is currently looking for a

Supervisor â€" Plant Operations.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily management of the office and plant ops staff to ensure efficient goal oriented operations are achieved.

Completes annual review of emergency manual.

Assists in the on-! going development of the department policy and procedure manua! l.

Responsible for receiving, logging, assigning and monitoring work orders for completion.

Monitors hospital vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing, licensing and operations for safe and efficient use.

Responsible for timely completion of preventative maintenance to assigned engineering staff.

Actively conducts or assists director in annual employee evaluations.

Provides reports and critical information to facility director in a timely manner.

Provides input on current and future construction plans.

Competently directs department in absence of director.

Demonstrates excellent leadership, problem solving skills and ability to manage major emergencies.

Competently rotates on-call management of routine and emergency requests.

Participates as a member of safety and infection control committees and others as requested.

Performs special projects as assigned.

Completes and! documents overtime and attendance log sheets on a daily basis.

Accurately reviews and processes monthly work order charges and submits cost to accounting in a timely manner.

Consistently manages all department time and attendance records for pay period deadlines of department as assigned by Facilities Director.

Reviews all department daily work sheets for correct documentation. Monitors daily time of all employees within departments assigned and works with managers and employees to keep overtime to a minimum.

Maintains departmental employee attendance calendars and illness records.

Monitors Plus reports daily for department and forwards reports to department manager and Director of Facilities.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
BS or technical school preferred or Equivalent experience required.

Current Tennessee driver’s license required.

Five ye! ars plus in Psychiatric/Behavioral hospital building construction, equi! pment, and daily utilities operation required.

Experienced with NFPA; TJC - EOC standards, document preparation and survey review.

State and Metropolitan Nashville code and standards surveys.

Prior experience in supervision and on â€" call responsibilities required.

Substantial demonstrated degree of mechanical aptitude in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Building EMS, Boiler/Chiller systems, Remodeling and Renovations, EPS Systems, etc.

Proficiency in the knowledge of and management of NFPA, TJC, EOC, State of Tennessee and local regulatory inspections and documentation in the Healthcare setting.

Able to multi task large number of changing priorities, excellent written/oral communication skills, proficient in related MS software, excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
