Technician - Sanitation (2nd shift P1)

Essential Job Functions:

• Cleans/sanitizes equipment and facility
• Housekeeping cleaning details
• Empty trash and hog bins throughout shift; maintain GMP's throughout facility
• Assist in foreign material investigations
• Position reports to Sanitation Department Team Leader

What do I need to be considered a candidate?

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Self starter who can work with little to no direct supervision
• Must be flexible with work hours, including overtime and vacation coverage when needed
• Mech! anical aptitude
• Ability to follow written and verbal ! instructions (in English)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use full range of motion in arms, hands, and legs
• Correctable 20/20 vision
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
• Must be experienced with our GMP's and proper operation/cleaning of equipment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior sanitation experience helpful, but not necessary
• Historically excellent attendance record

Physical Requirements:

• Will be required to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, climbing, reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing, grasping, and balancing as part of production activities on the floor. Will be required to see and hear well enough to understand Associates questions and respond to their concerns. May be required to work in freezers, near noisy machinery, near confined spaces as part of daily production activities.
