Responsibilities:
The Leadership Development Program accelerates the development of earlyâ"career, high-potential individuals with the goal of building strong future leaders.
The program dura! tion is approximately 3 years, exposing the trainee to rotatio! ns in various manufacturing and engineering functions. Rotation opportunities may also exist in other areas which further broaden the skill set of the trainee. Each rotation will last approximately 6-12 months. The management trainees will participate in a formal mentoring program as well. At the end of the program, the trainee will be assigned to a position within A.O. Smith providing performance during the training period is acceptable.
Qualifications:
- Must be open to relocation in the United States as well as global assignments
- Must have an applicable undergraduate or graduate degree (engineering preferred)
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or better out of 4.0 is required
- Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing preferred
- Must possess strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, etcâ¦)
- We require strong organizational and project management skills and an analytical approach to problem-solv! ing
- The successful candidate will be collaborative, able to adapt quickly and navigate ambiguity
