Role purpose: - The position will be accountable for the development and execution of the customer campaigns within a defined Commercial Unit.-The Customer Campaign Lead will lead the development of customer campaigns and will work with Crop Marketing, Programs Managers, Sales, and KAM to develop strategies/tactics at the grower and channel level.-Execute a Customer Campaign service model to support Sales and KAM in effectively delivering business results.-Drives implementation and monitoring of programs and tactics for the assigned geography.-Act as a campaign touch point for the field.Dimensions: - Financial: - People: No direct reports- Geographic Scope: territory within a CU in the USAccountabilities: - Key liaison between frontline sales force and ?Marketing? to ensure effective customer campaign execution.- Coordinates with Program Specialists in the development and execution (posi! tioning) of marketing programs and tactics.- Coordinates with ! Customer Marketing Specialists in the execution of customer campaign tactics.- Member of Customer Campaign Team.- Identifies bottlenecks and SWOT analysis impacting the business within defined geography.- Monitor in-season effectiveness of the campaign, and propose adjustments as appropriate.Transition accountabilities: - Develop a basic understanding of key crops: timing, market information, crop strategies and grower needs.- Develop a single campaign in alignment with seasonal selling cycle- Establish customer relationships with District Managers, Sales Reps and select key accountsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:
Critical knowledge: : - 4 year degree in Agriculture/ Marketing/ Finance.- Strong customer focus orientation.- Excellent communications (i.e., PowerPoint, oral and written), interpersonal, negotiating, analytical, problem solving/decision making, teamwork and planning/organizing skills.- Understanding and utilization of MaSE methodology.Critical experie! nce: - 2-5 years or more of experience in Ag Business.- Financial acumen, ability to develop business cases.Critical competencies required: - Creativity/Innovation- Customer focus- Presentation skills- Action oriented- Motivating others- Planning & organization- Financial acumenCritical leadership capabilities: - Manages risk/reward ratio and is able to work with ambiguity- Ability to influence others with strategic vision and confidence- Creates passion and excitement- Skillfully plans, organizes and monitors performance to meet deadlinesCritical Success Factors & Key Challenges:
