Location: Portland Tennessee

SUMMARY Responsible for providing the day-to-day service, teller and sales activities to achieve the highest possible level of customer service. Performs a broad variety of customer service functions including: responding to customer service inquires, interviewing, anticipating customer needs, offering appropriate products, cross-selling other related products and services. This position is part-time - approximately 32-34 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides a complete range of customer services, including opening new accounts and customer maintenance. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of job related policies, procedures, products (including IRAs, estate, trusts, etc.)

Processes various banking transactions (for ex: savings and checking account deposits/withdrawals, check cashing, loan transactions, etc.) and adhering to all applicable policies, procedures and regulations such as, established check cashing and approval guidelines/standards

Anticipates and satisfies all customer product and service needs; enhances total bank relationship, effectively cross-sells and seeks out loan and wealth management referral opportunities to enhancing total bank relationship.

Refers and cross sells opportunities and efforts through Synapsys of new and existing customers; acquires and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Bank products and services by conducting sales training each month in order to satisfy customer needs

Interviews and interfaces with customers on consumer loan questions and applications; works closely with underwriters and individuals to approve, decline or condition loan requests

Demonstrates superior customer and employee relation skills; communicates in a clear, concise, courteous and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum 2 years experience as a CSR and Teller or equivalent experience in a similar position.

Successful completion of Customer Service training and Teller training program required

Prior experience and/or a demonstrated aptitude that would indicate ability to become a leader in a sales and service environment required

High School diploma or GED required

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail a must

Demonstrated sound judgment in decisions regarding transaction approvals and customer problem resolution

Must be computer literate with typing experience and a working knowledge of MS Office preferred

Will be required to travel to numerous locations within a specific market
