Interact with ECU members to build relationships by offering exceptional member service

Analyze member needs, and promote usage of other ECU products and services as appropriate

Perform all member service and lending responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism, resulting in an organizational culture that provides value-added services that meet and exceed the financial expectations of our membership

Complete all loan and deposit account documentation accurately and completely

Adhere to ECU policies and guidelines related to deposit and loan accounts

Maintain thorough knowledge of ECU products and services

Asset Quality

Adhere to ECU Lending policies and guidelines

Responsible for accurate, complete, loan documentation

Security and Safety

Maintain strict confidentiality toward member accounts within ECU as well as outside of ECU

Maintain strict confidentiality toward ECU corporate information and assets

Be attentive to lobby traffic and follow security procedures for suspicious persons

Be aware of 'all clear' signal, various alarms/security measures, verbal signals, physical signals/procedures following an incident

Take action to provide/maintain a safe working environment and member environment - Report all potentially unsafe acts/conditions to appropriate

Compliance

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations (including BSA, Reg CC, and OFAC)

Service Excellence

Know and adhere to the Service Excellence plays in the ECU's 'Service Excellence Playbook'

Know and adhere to Mystery Shop expectations

Assist in creating and maintaining a 'Member First' culture

Required Skills

The role of the MSR is to perform member transactions such as opening new accounts, maintenance on accounts, certificates of deposits, IRA accounts, business accounts and originating and processing all types of consumer loans accurately and efficiently. Candidates must possess effective verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal tactfully with individuals in difficult situations, ability to exercise good judgment, logic and initiative to work independently, ability to perform mathematical calculations, effective organizational, time management and problem solving skills that demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, work productively and manage multiple tasks in a high volume environment.

Required Experience

At least 2 years prior knowledge of opening new accounts and lending experience required. Must have intermediate knowledge of MS Office package and ability to navigate through multiple screens.
