Highly successful global manufacturing company seeks a certified Six Sigma Black Belt (or MBB) to provide on-site direction and mentoring for a growing, state-of-the-art packaging site in beautiful Nashville, TN. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Global CI Dir. Short term focus is on first pass thru put and cost of quality. Many tools and techniques will be utilized.
Duties will include:
' Promote and lead activities that identify all forms of waste (as defined by lean methodologies) through various techniques including: Value Stream Mapping, Gemba Walks, 5-Why/Cause Mapping and Kaizen. ' Develop and teach Lean and Six-Sigma curriculum in cooperation with global colleagues. Including, but not limited to, Lean Management, Autonomous Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Pull-Systems, SMED, 5S, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE). ' Collaborates with plant, regional and global colleagues to consistently seek, share and implement Best Practices. ' Actively participate and execute Policy Deployment activities. ' Provides direction and assistance with developing Design of Experiments. ' Partners with other Department Managers to execute critical projects for business growth
