‘We are looking to recruit a Portage Worker to work as part of the Portage Team in the Early Years SEND Team. This is a full time position.
The Portage Worker will work closely with the Early SEND Team to deliver Portage-based home visiting early intervention service to children under 5 with special educational needs or disabilities, across Herefordshire. You will need:

• A formal Childcare and Education qualification to level 3.
• Full UK Driving license and able to travel across the county of Herefordshire

Experience of supporting early years children with additional needs

• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Equality Act (2010) and the SEND Code of Practice (2015)
• The ability to build strong relationships with early years settings.
• To be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
