Summary of Position

The Hotel Lobby Greeter is responsible for engaging with Hotel guests to enhance their overall experience. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and guest-focused individual. As the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a warm and welcoming experience that reflects the high standards of our establishment. Your exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dedication to providing top-notch service will contribute to creating memorable stays for our guests.

Roles and Responsibilities

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

  • Greet guests as they enter the hotel lobby with a genuine and friendly demeanor.
  • Provide accurate information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized lobby area, ensuring it is aesthetically pleasing at all times.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive assistance to enhance their stay.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a diplomatic and effective manner.
  • Uphold the highest standards of guest confidentiality and data security.
  • Provide support during busy periods or special events in the lobby.
  • Assist with coverage of F&B host stands when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or guest relations role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a welcoming personality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including hotel management systems and communication tools.
  • Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Multilingual skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, events, and services is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
