is currently looking for an
Ultrasonographer
.
Responsibilities:
Completes quality, diagnostic exams in a timely manner relevant to team's case time average.
Competent use of all machines (i.e. Client Voluson, Philips IU22, Philips HD11, Parks Flo, CareFusion)
Familiar with exams in all service lines to include Neuro, OB, Vascular and General Ultrasound.
Interacts and professionally communicates with physicians, patients and family members.
Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of probes according to specifications.
Supports and participates in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.
Daily upkeep of departmental work areas keeping areas clean and stocked.
Contributes to after hour and holiday coverage through on-call and/or shift rotations.
Administrative support through compliance with quarterly targeted metrics (i! .e. Kronos, HealthStream, PACS, etc)
Maintains all licenses, certifications and accreditations required as outlined above.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Degree from accredited RDMS program required.
No less than (1) year of experience in ultrasound required
Additional (1) year of specialty experience (Vascular or OB/GYN) is strongly preferred.
Current BLS and ARDMS certifications required.
Certified in General, Vascular and OB disciplines within 24 months of hire date.
