Transcriptionist
Location: Gallatin Tennessee
Description: Sumner Regional Medical Center is in need of Transcriptionist right now, this career will be placed in Tennessee. For detail informations about this career opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. This position is responsible for the transcribing of medical dictation by physicians and other health care professionals. Utilizes knowledge of medical terminology and/or anatomy and physiol! ogy to insure reports are accurately transcribed on the appropriate report formats. Examples of reports transcribed are: history & physicals, discharge summaries, operative reports, consultations, physical therapy notes, cardiac cath reports, emergency room reports, medical imaging reports, etc. This is classified as a professional Level – 1 position as defined by AHDI professional standards (03/05).
Full-Time position. Must be flexible to work as needed including nights and weekends. High School diploma or GED required. Advanced training in Medical Transcription strongly preferred.
Transcription experience preferred. Must pass advanced typing skills test.
