You must be able to work a 3-day work week any day of the work week, Sunday through Thursday, wi! th occasional 10-hour shifts and other days and hours as required. A typical work week consists of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00 â€" 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 â€" 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications
Production Utility II employees perform multiple functions within the packaging and process areas at our Blue Planet Foods facility. They work with unpackaged and packaged food products in a structured work environment in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
Applicants should posses the ability to read, write and do basic math. No prior experience is required. Dexterity, good attendance, and! high energy are invaluable to this position.
Drug sc! reen, physical, background check, and tests are required.

Preferred qualifications
The Production Utility II employee initiates and monitors production equipment operation; feeds packages and palletizes products manually; is involved with minor equipment set up and maintenance; cleans equipment and work areas; records production data, conducts visual inspections and periodically mixes ingredients. Must be able to lift or push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from highs of 95 â€" 115 degrees in the summer to lows of 55 â€" 65 degrees in the winter. Due to the unique process in manufacturing, must be able to work in dusty areas.
While performing the duties ! of this job, the employee may be exposed to fast-moving machinery, mechanical parts and airborne particles. Moving conveyors may affect people who are sensitive to motion. The noise level in the work environment is loud and most areas require hearing protection.
Production Utility II employees must follow proper safety procedures at all times. They are required to wear approved clothing while in specified plant areas. This includes hairnets, slip-resistant steel-toed safety shoes, gloves and hearing protection. No beards, jewelry, nail polish, or artificial nails are allowed in the food production facilities.
