As a key part of this initiative, w! e will be increasing our internal capability and capacity to translate the many sources of data into consolidated information to drive action. The Manager, Market Performance Engineer -VOB will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the new Integrated VOB (Voice of the Boss) organization Market Performance Engineering (MPE) for the Americas. This individual will deliver regular updates for Market Performance â€" VOB supporting the Consumer and Commercial business units. This position will report directly to the Executive Director of Sales Engineering.
Foster a team environment that will collaborate company-wide gathering input from both internal and external resources that will be used to compile an engineering market scorecard for our products and services (Consumer and Commercial).
Define an effective organization to collaborate with Quality, Marketing and Sales to deliver a data driven representation of the top 3 Boss performance attrib! utes in each product and service segment and deliver a regular! status and direction to our internal key stakeholders â€" Development, Consumer and Commercial BU’s.
Develop and deliver new and efficient testing and survey techniques to supplement and confirm our customer insights using our resources more effectively.
Establish a data driven, fact based decision making process to translate data into information, information into insights and insights into action providing KPI’s that track effectiveness.
Manage a group of teammates through training, coaching, and guidance of project work.
Establish detailed budget plans in line with corporate policy and established monthly controls.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including ATC, Marketing, and the global VOB.
Create and deliver executive presentations.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline required; MBA preferred.
Minimum 9 plus years of engineering experience with proven leadership experience.
E! xperience managing a team providing a clear vision and expectations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional / matrix environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to present findings to management and leadership at all levels clearly and concisely.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PPT.
Strong understanding of database management, analytical and statistical skills are required.
